Introduction

My daughter Lilly was born August 17th. I'm on maternity leave until mid-November and am looking for things to do with my daughter while I have time at home with her!

Have you ever been looked down on for breast feeding in public?

I'm still having a hard time breast feeding at home so I haven't been able to BF in public yet. But I've definitely had feedback such as, "I hate it when people just BF anywhere!" I try to remember that they probably don't have children and don't understand that the baby needs to feed and I don't want to be stuck in my house just because she might need food in the next 2 hours!

What is a favorite thing to do with your child/children?

She is still new, so I just like cuddling with her :)

What is something you really want to do but have not had the chance to do yet?

Go back to my ballet class! (Okay, that's not an activity with my baby!) I want to learn how to BF more easily so I can have more freedom with getting out.

What do you hope for in this meetup? (No pressure, I am super open to ideas!)

It was recommended by the Los Gatos New Mom's group. I just want to have access to activities near us (Mountain View) so I can meet new people and make some new friends with people who have children close to Lilly's age.

Would love to meet you at one of the Monday Ortega park play dates! Doesn't matter if your baby's too small for playing, just come for the fresh air and socializing. No one I know is the "perfect Attached Momma" but there are a few of us imperfect ones on Monday mornings. :-)
