Which topics do you enjoy reading about and discussing the most?

Anything to do with humanity. I know that is a broad answer, but my interest can expand to just about anything that fits underneath that umbrella: history, sociology, psychology, philosophy, you name it. I am also greatly interested in biology; specifically, neuroscience, but anything on the topic will do (this includes non-human biological elements as well).

What are some of your favorite books (or authors)?

I could not make an exhaustive list. I'll say this: - right now I am reading Bertrand Russell's "History of Western Philosophy" - my first favorite book is Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet" - my second favorite is J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Silmarillion" Judge me as you will.

Name 2 or 3 non-fiction books you would like to discuss with the group.

Introduction

Hello there, I am a lonely and bored intellectual who currently resides in Waukesha. I'm looking to meet others who walk down my same path, and this club might be what I am seeking. I'd like to give it a try to see if something clicks.
