Here's some exciting news! Our friends at the Madison PHP User Group are organizing a one-day conference scheduled for November 16th. (A Saturday, no need to take a day off work!) If you register before the schedule is released on October 16th, you can get tickets for only $40! They jump up to $60 on October 16th, so don't wait. Joel and I will both be attending, hope to see you there!  -Jeremy
Madison PHP Conference November 16th, 2013

There will be two tracks of speakers and lots of networking opportunities. In the morning, the first track will be a PHP Foundations track and will start with learning the basics of PHP for anyone who is interested in starting PHP development. The second track will be for active PHP devs. In the afternoon, both tracks will have a mix of talks ranging from beginner to advanced, so there will be something for everyone.
Lunch will be included in the conference to provide for more opportunities for networking and interacting with the speakers. We will also have an open spaces area where people can gather to discuss topics or problems they are trying to solve.
Our Call for Papers is now open, so if you are interested in speaking, stop by for more information.
Don't miss this great opportunity to learn PHP, hear the latest news from fellow developers, and find out what new advancements and tools are available to make your development easier, more efficient, and more fun!
