Nines at The Riverclub (Country Club Mequon)

Diners will be able to choose entrées from the restaurant’s contemporary American menu or order them as small plates, or in flights of three small plates designed either by executive chef Justin Disbrow or by them. Options can be ordered with wine or beer pairings; 40 wines will be available by the glass. “We want to be able to offer people variety, options,” Manner said. The average price of full-sized entrées would be less than $20. The gastropub will have a separate menu. Diners will find eight TVs, eight craft beers on tap, a full bar and a wine bar, where guests can try charcuterie or cheeses. While the gastropub’s décor will lean toward steel and dark woods, the restaurant will have views of the pool and the nine-hole golf courses. At the Nines’ center will be a tree sculpture; banquettes will surround it. One unusual aspect is a 4,000-square-foot children’s activity center that includes a theater, games and golf simulator, where children can play while parents have dinner, Manner said. Children can have their meal in the activity center, or they can join their parents for dinner. The dining room will seat about 100, with another 30 on the covered patio and 40 to 60 in the gastropub. The restaurant has a vegetable and herb garden on the property; the Nines also would seek out other local ingredients, including Wisconsin pheasant for a quesadilla with house-made queso fresco, for example. As it is a Country Club I expect an excellent degree of service. The noise levels should be on par with the typical noise level in a Country Club.

With 8 TVs, can I assume this place is quite loud?
Or does that stand for food selections?

I assume we are going to be in the Back Room - yes? and NOT near the children's activity center.

We will certainly request the back room. This is a great opportunity for parents who may not been able to attend previous events. I am really looking forward to it.
