Web marketing and content strategist, specializing in relevant user engagement on websites, social platforms and videos. Work with B2B and B2C clients. Skills/Tools: Web design, SEO, WordPress, CSS, HTML and Photoshop.
Over 3 years. I don't keep track of versions; just use the most current and keep my clients' sites current as well (after validating, of course).
* More plugins that others love. * Themes others find most flexible and efficient, that load fast and are agreeable with top plugins.
Optimizing content, images, videos, file names and meta tags. Modifying stylesheets, header/footers, background image, navigation, etc. Working with multiple skins and adding custom styles. Love plugins! and the developers behind them who make my life (work) a joy. My key focus is optimization, engagement and conversion - and modifying any or all tools in WordPress that can make these happen.
I edit themes and style sheets. Working with child themes more and more. I do not create WP themes from scratch.
"I love disc golf and bocce."
I think it's awesome that we have a local WP group. Perhaps it would be advantageous to advertised some WP meetups as - for beginners only, for experienced WP users only, advanced users only, open to all WP levels? My co-worker and I were surprised that we knew more than many attendees, and we've only worked with WP for the last 2 years. However, thanks to the panel and the ecomm plugin focus, we learned what we needed. THANKS!
Hello Cathy, and welcome to the Milwaukee Outdoor Adventure Group! Please take a moment to look at our calendar and RSVP for upcoming events. If you have any ideas for upcoming meetups, please let me know and I will post them. I look forward to meeting you:)
Welcome to the Milwaukee Wining and Dining meetup group!! We have some outings planned, but if there's someplace you'd like to try, just let one of the organizers know, and we'll help you set it up. We're also starting to have "optional" things to do after some of the events, so the meetup doesn't have to be a short one. Bon appetit!
