Welcome to the Buddhist communities (sanghas) of Milwaukee. We hope to be able to keep an up to date

list of all meditation retreats, classes and other Buddhist events in the Milwaukee area on the home page,

and to keep up to date the pages with contact and location information, regular meditation schedules,

and other information about each participating sangha.

Start by going to the Pages section for location, contact information, regularly scheduled free introductory

meditation instruction, and web links for each sangha and other Buddhist group, and for some of them,

also a link to another page within this website giving more information about the group.   There is also

a link to a page showing where you can find a group to meditate with each day of the week - the

'composite' schedule.

The Meetup platform allows only the website organizers to be listed as the sponsors of the

events listed here, but in fact each is hosted by one of the individual sanghas, and each is solely

responsible for the event.  The website organizers are merely providing a convenient bulletin board for

local Buddhist groups.  To register for an event shown here you must contact those groups directly.  Registrations attempted indirectly via Meetup will go nowhere.

Please know that newcomers are especially welcome at all the sanghas.  Let us know if we have

overlooked your sangha or Buddhist association, and we will be happy to include it.
