Milwaukee Holiday Parade

(Many of us animal households have more than one pet) so please help sponsor our sister meetup group: WI Pugs

It is that time of year to start thinking about...yes, the holidays, Christmas is around the corner. Milwaukee Pug Fest will be in the Milwaukee Holiday Parade.

Date: Saturday November 23, 2013

Time to be the parade site: 8:00-8:15 the very latest

Attire: Your pugs (and other doggie siblings) can be dressed in any type of holiday attire they would like.

Please this year, no humans can be dressed like Santa except the big guy himself, per request of the Milwaukee Holiday Parade personnel!

Things to bring: Your HOLIDAY SPIRIT AND THE WILLINGNESS TO HAVE A GREAT TIME.
Pug fans everywhere will be watching the Milwaukee Holiday Parade from all over the world, and we do not want to disappoint them, so we would like as many pugs and their parents to come out and walk in the parade.. You will have a great time, make many people happy, and your holiday spirit will be contagious!
Your pugs can walk in the parade, or if they prefer, a Holiday Decorated Stroller or Wagon would be great too.

We will also be on TV so this is a great way for Milwaukee Pug Fest to get the word out about pugs in need and it will also help with our donations. Our goal is to help pug rescue groups in need, and there are many many pug rescue groups and pugs in need who definitely could use our help.

Please come join us at the Milwaukee Holiday Parade and help make millions of people and their pets happy.
We guarantee you and your pugs will have a wonderful time and you will catch that holiday spirit!

If you would like to join us at the Milwaukee Holiday Parade, email Joe and Diane at: [masked]

Those who will be walking in the parade, we will email your parade information to you (2) weeks prior to the parade date of November 23rd, 2013.

Cold but Fun! I would do this event again. Riley loved getting dressed up, and the extra attention. She really liked, checking out the filming crew. Everyone was very nice to us.

I LOVED LOVED the dancing guy too!!!! It was so cold and standing for an hour and a half was brutal. I was not prepared at all. I should have dressed warmer. I guess winter is here. It was really nice seeing and talking with Rick and Debbie and meeting the rest of you. Thanks for letting us be a part of the parade!
The best part was seeing the smiles on the kids faces :)

Olivia sounds precious can't wait to see her. All of our dogs look so cute in their parade outfits and the children watching the parade go wild over our dogs.

Is it open only to pugs?

    November 5, 2013

    • Pongo (.

Jo, no, I even do not have a pug but there are many households who have more than one kind of pet (or dog breed). I have participated a could of years in all kind of parades (watch for St. Paddy), and people have even brought their cats and parrots!

No, the parade is open to more than pugs. Not a problem. Rick

This is such a fun time. We did it last yard and the time before the parade was spent visiting with many nice dog owners & what did we talk about our cute dogs of course! The kids along the parade route enjoyed our little dressed up dogs.

Depending on how many RSVP's, I will try to pinpoint a actual time and exact location (not sure if it will be like last year) and depending on weather conditions, etc. Please feel free to contact me via meetup.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
