Hackathon at Twilio on Saturday Dec 14th. As a bonus, the mayor of SF and Ron Conway are coming, so that could be pretty cool. . . http://www.eventbrite.com/e/highground-hackers-symposium-for-sandy-hook-registration-8142052097?aff=erelexporg

I hope that I can come in virtually and contribute to a team working on compassion or self-compassion.

Sorry I didn't notice this before the event, Cynthia. I'm doing the iron.io SF RoR holiday remote hack (started this morning, ends in a week), and I'm looking at doing a widget related to mindfulness tracking, support, and coaching. I think that overlaps your interests, so feel free to contact me through meetup any time (the project is ongoing, but I always try to knock out a piece of it in every class or hackathon I can get to).

And: If anyone was NOT able to get an RSVP into the 9-to-5 event, please post so that Jessica, James, or I can make sure you have a spot in the venue from 5 PM on . . . :)

Hi everyone! Please be sure to secure your spot by RSVPing at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/highground-hackers-symposium-for-sandy-hook-registration-8142052097
The symposium will begin Saturday morning, but the hackathon component will begin late afternoon. They've got some interesting speakers lined up, so it might be worthwhile to arrive during the day to attend some of the talks.
Looking forward to seeing all of you this weekend.
