Relax Breathe Be: Relaxation is one of the foundations for mindfulness practice, and Stephan’s gentle approach to guiding, the cozy atmosphere of the accomodations and meditation room, the beautiful garden, simple, healthy food and the long breaks in the schedule are great supports for just this.
Mindfulness: The focus of the retreat is mindfulness meditation: sitting, walking and lying down, and we will observe silence from after dinner on Friday evening until before lunch on Sunday. This retreat is appropriate for beginners or more experienced students and the teaching and exercises will be given in easy-to-understand English.
Peace: We will stay at the Inspirationscenter in Maribo, Lolland. The Inspirationscenter has beautiful grounds which have been the site for healing of various sorts for over 300 years, and the garden is a wonderful place for the walking meditation. The rooms have two beds each, and are very comfortable. To get the most out of the retreat, we suggest that you ‘unplug’ and leave books, computers, MP3 players at home and keep your mobile phones turned off.
Details The retreat starts with dinner together at 18:00 on Friday, so plan on coming a little earlier than that to get settled in your room! We will be finished after lunch on Sunday at 14:00.
