The Mindfulness Meditation Group of NW Atlanta invites anyone interested in learning how to practice meditation to calm the mind and seek spiritual rejuvenation to join us for our meetings every other week on Sunday afternoons in Cartersville. As we seek self growth and learn to cultivate compassion and mindfulness in our daily lives, we will be drawing from a rich mixture of sources, from famous philosophers to religious sages from around the world.
All faiths are encouraged to attend. Although Buddhist philosophy (as taught through the works of Thich Nhat Hahn, Pema Chodron and others) will be a common thread running through many of our readings, it will be utilized as a jumping off point for our discussions rather than a destination unto itself. So we welcome people of various religious backgrounds to join us on our journey towards spiritual enlightenment.
No Charge to attend. "Love Offerings" or donations accepted - all money goes to business owner who has graciously agreed to let us use her facility for donations only.
If you feel moved or compelled to give please do so. All offerings will go for the expense of this building, rent and upkeep.
