For anyone already familiar with Mindfulness practice: If you have completed a course in Mindfulness, this 'day retreat' will be a great way to keep your practice alive and take it much deeper than a short daily dose allows.
We'll start promptly at 10.00am and practice a range of mindfulness meditations, with tea breaks, and a break for a shared lunch.
We'll spend much of the day in silence, giving you a chance to stay contained and focussed.
No need to book: just turn up: we have a large room and there's plenty of parking space. We bring cushions and mats, and there are plenty of chairs, but if you have your own 'equipment' you're welcome to bring it along.
The session will led by Terry Pilchick. Terry trained with the Breathworks Foundation, Breathing Space (London) and the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (Bangor). They have now led around forty 8-week courses (MBSR/MBCT) in the area.
We ask for a donation of £30.00 for the session. There's no formal booking so you can pay on the day. It would be nice to get a quick rsvp to let us know you're coming so we can prepare for numbers.
See you there!
