Josh Harris BIO.............I have seen him in person, HE IS Hysterical!!
Exploding onto the comedy scene, young Atlanta comedian Josh Harris has experienced a meteoric rise over the last few years. Hailed by Creative Loafing Magazine for “combining frat boy silliness with a trap star mentality,” his high energy performances and one of a kind material made him a top two finisher in the “Atlanta’s Funniest Person” competition by Dave FM in 2008. A year later he was a semi-finalist on TV One’s Who’s Got Jokes. Receiving a standing ovation after only three short minutes, he was the only Caucasian in the show’s four year history to make it past the first round. Riding the tide of these monumental achievements, in 2009 NBC flew him to LA to compete in the finals of the nationwide talent search Stand Up for Diversity, which showcased the country’s ten freshest comedians at The Comedy Store. Most recently he performed a nationally televised comedy set for Bounce TV's "Off The Chain." Josh also writes and performs sketch comedy with Sketchworks, Atlanta’s premiere sketch comedy troupe. The future is bright for this 28-year-old as he sprints to the finish line of superstardom.
Mia Jackson Bio
Mia Jackson, a native of Columbus, Georgia and a self proclaimed know it all, wondered what would happen if she took her sense of humor to the stage. That’s exactly what she did! After graduating from the University of Georgia she hit the local comedy scene and has thrilled audiences since day one. To her credit she has appeared on Oxygen’s Girls Behaving Badly and TLC’s Wild Weddings. She was also a writer on BET/Centric’s re-launch of the Soul Train Awards in 2009 and 2010. In 2012, Mia was a finalist in the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta. Mia is a diverse comedienne with a different voice and perspective. Her energetic conversational style leaves the audience feeling refreshed and as if they have known her forever. Smart, funny, and versatile, Mia entertains all types of crowds.
