Free tickets:
I apologize for sending out a second e-mail about this but based on the responses I received, I left out some important information. That is what comes of drafting e-mails at 5:30 in the morning when getting ready to go to the office.

The way I will distribute my free tickets is to simply put the name of members who requested tickets into a hat and choose members at random. That seems to be the fairest way.  I will e-mail you your tickets for printing or give them to you at the pre-mingling dinner or at check-in.  That is up to you.

Volunteering for Mingle Jingle:

If you want to volunteer for either greeting, hosting, ticket verificatin or decorations (10 am) please send the information requested in the e-mail from Nita to me attached below. Do not contact Steve Kilby now that the commitees are up and running.
Please note that you must also register (see instructions). Decorating will be at 10 am. Hosting, greeting and ticket verification, assignments will be from 7 pm to 12 am for a 1 hour period. Please state your preference.

In exchange for volunteering, you will receive a free ticket and will not have to donate a toy (though I hope you will still donate a toy). As I said, many of the mingling organizers (and members) were at the volunteer meeting and are already on the volunteer assignment list. With the exception of decorators, the other volunteers will have to be at the Westin by 7 pm for 10 minutes of training.
Here is the relevant part of the e-mail from Nita. To volunteer, please follow her instructions and send me the requested information. I will then forward your information to Nita.

FYI, we are also still looking for decorations committee volunteers. After I have enough volunteers to cover Check-In, I'd like to offer others a chance to be added for decorations.
