Mini-Mutts St. Patrick's Day Puppy Party! - Docile Doggies

Hey Hey Party Peeps,

My pups have turned green! There are leprechauns running amuck! Also, these days we are feeling pretty darn lucky :) Let's celebrate the St. Patrick's Day spirit with our very own St. Patrick's Day Puppy Party :)

Notes:

- This party is for Docile Doggies only. This means an energy level of 1-5 (out of 10) is a requirement. If your dog is too rowdy for this group, please see our other party, for the Rambunctious Rovers.

- Please do not sign up for both groups unless you have multiple dogs who will attend both. Please note that you will need to pay the regular fees for each group, as you are using two RSVP's. Also remember to bring a kennel to keep your doggie in while he or she is waiting for his or her turn to play in the appropriate group, as opposed to leaving anyone in the car.

- Because we have two groups we run quite closely together, and because of our payment structure for the facility rental, we need to stay within the time-frame of 2:00 - 3:15. No Early-birds, please.

Also note that any RSVP’s changing from a YES to a NO must be completed by 8pm the night before playgroup. Failure to do so will result in a “no-show” in our records.

Our AARCS Charity Raffle is a go this month, with a super cute apron kindly donated by Brenda Cuppen up for grabs. The tickets will be five bucks each. All proceeds will go toward our goal of raising money for the AARCS Safe Haven facility.

As usual, we will have our bright green ARF Donation Bin sitting at our gate. This bin is for animal related items only, such as pet food, bowls, leashes, toys, etc. New and gently used items are appreciated!

The Ever Fabulous Tamara will be offering her Ever Fabulous Five Dollar Nail Trims, so if your pooch's nails are looking more like talons, be sure to sign up at the front when you check in.

That’s all for now, folks!

Come One, Come Small, to the St. Patrick’s Day Puppy Party!

Love,

Cai'lin & Shawn, Flynnagin and Lilly-Lou

    Cai'lin.

Your site, says you can not sign up for both groups....I do not understand why you can not do so? can you please explain.

as I find lily needs longer to warm up to the idea of group play ( docile doggies ) and ideally the first hour would do that...and she can be quite playful when other dogs engage her ( rambunctious rovers )

    thanks

This is the information for the lady that I talked to , who was sitting beside me...sorry not so great with names :) it was first time This is the supplement that my dog is using "Nujoint Plus"made by Nuvet labs..... for joint/knee issues. It has MSM, Glucosamine, Vit C, Chondroitin....my dog loves it,... it it tastes like chicken and she thinks it is a treat ....1/2 tab a day is recommended for 12 lbs dog

it is from the USA and you can order it online 180 tabs for $55.00

I buy Zukes Hip Action treats and they are available every pet store. They have 300 mg. per treat and my 12 lb.ers get 1 treat/day.

My dog has had knee surgery for medial petellar luxation and since her surgery i give her glucosamine chews. I tried her on the Nujoint and she refused it completely, wouldn't even take 1 chew tab. She LOVES the ones she gets now, even looks for her morning "treat".

The ones she loves are called Dynamo Dogs Functional Treats Hip & Joint. Each treat has 230mg Glucosamine HCL / 40mg Chondroitin. The bag has the breakdown based on weight so you know how much to give your dog (my dog gets 1/2 "treat"/day).
They are also free of corn, wheat, soy, artificial colours/flavours and no biproducts. Made in the USA.

I get them at Chewsy's in Avenedia Plaza (SE). I believe the small bag starts at $7.99 lasts us 1.5mos and the next bag size up is about $12 and lasts us 3.5mos (so far).

      Hope this helps!

My vet said, that the combination of what is in the Nujoint plus tabs...is ideally what any dog should be getting who has any issues with joints, Knees so forth .......so it is all of the ingredients ( msm, glocosmine, chondroitin, Vit C ) that help dogs recover or maintain good health of joints and so forth

    March 10, 2014

  • Mary-Anne

    Thanks Susan,

there was also a lady to my right that , we were also talking about hip/joint /knee issues and she wanted to know what my dog was taking....

I believe you had the 4 chis and one had a pin its leg....I asked you about surgery costs:) if you do order it ...hope it helps

Hi Cai'lin can you please retrieve the doggie t-shirt I left behind? Kaki green with police k9 team written on it, stuck in the fence at the back of the room. I would appreciate it. Will pick up later. Thank you

Hi Sylvie, I'm sorry but I didn't see this message in time. Shawn says he saw it though. I will leave a message with the owner of Waggin Tails to see that it gets set aside for you to pick up from them during business hours.

A good turn out, some new and old faces. The young black and white pup made things exciting for some of the dogs. Thanks Cai'lin and Sean. Nancy M

    HI,
We are going to try out docile doggies. We went to Rambunctious Rovers and wee Kabuki was a bit overwhelmed. She is energetic but may wish quieter playmates....and she adjusts her play level according to the other dogs's demeanors...

Lads and Lassies let's rock n roll! Watch out for those leprachauns.......maybe we can ask a few to come for tea with a wee dash o' Bailey's as we do a jig or two at our Paddy's Day "Paw"-ty! We could ride on a rainbow and discover pots o' gold or a Lucky Shamrock or two.......Yipee! Yahoo! Looking forward to seeing all of you!!!!!!!

Tally-ho! We'll be wearin' green 'cause, faith and begore, to Irish folk of The Emerald Isle "Green is keen!"

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
