Another Fabulous Reading by Lyda Morehouse!

On Wednesday, March 26, LYDA MOREHOUSE reads her fiction from 6:30-7:30.. Lyda Morehouse specializes in writing books that go out of print quickly.  Books of hers you can no longer find on shelves include _Archangel Protocol_ (Shamus Award winner), _Fallen Host_, _Messiah Node_, _ Apocalypse Array_ (Second place Philip K. Dick winner), and newly out of print _Resurrection Code_.  Luckily, she also writes as Tate Hallaway, who has yet to be remaindered (crosses fingers).  Tate has written the Garnet Lacey series (_Tall, Dark & Dead_, _Dead Sexy_, _Romancing the Dead_, _Dead if I Do_, and _Honeymoon of the Dead_), the Vampire Princess of St. Paul series (_Almost to Die For_, _Almost Everything_, and _Almost Final Curtain_.)  Tate also has a stand-alone: _Precinct 13_.  Lyda works at the Ramsey County Libraries as an traveling page, which makes her think the job should come standard with a mandolin and a feathered hat.

The SPECULATIONS READINGS SERIES continues monthly at DREAMHAVEN BOOKS, 2301 E 38th St, Minneapolis. Each Speculations Reading runs from 6:30-7:45p.m., including a post-reading reception with free soda pop and cookies.

Speculations is a co-production of DreamHaven Books and SF MINNESOTA, a multicultural speculative fiction organization that also hosts a midsummer SF convention, DIVERSICON, the 22nd edition of which will be held July 25-27, 2014, at the Best Western--Bandana Square, St Paul, with Guest of Honor CAROLYN IVES GILMAN and Special Guest TERRY A. GAREY.

Great fun, and at the afterparty we figured out how to save the Star Wars franchise... with a reboot.

Lyda is always entertaining, but the best part was the dinner/discussion.
