Introduction

I'm Eric M. Heideman. I edit the magazine Tales of the Unanticipated, host the Speculations Readings Series at DreamHaven Books, and host Krushenko's, an SF-discussion space, at several area SF cons.

What sort of stories do you write? And if you have anything published, tell us about it (even if it's not SF.) We love to hear about all your successes.

My fiction has appeared in Writers of the Future, Volume III, Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, Walker's Best Mystery and Suspense Stories, 1988, and TOTU #s 9, 12, and 17. I'm also the author of over 150 essays, articles and reviews.

What brings you to the SF Writers Meetup? Is there anything that you hope the group will do for you?

Hilary dragged me in because I schedule the Speculations Readings at Dreamhaven. Go to the readings, then join me for pizza at Dulono's.

Hey Eric, I've considered you a friend and a good writer for awhile. This is a good site; hope to see you check in more often.

Eric is a tireless proponent of speculative fiction and a first-rate publisher. He organizes readings and eats democratically-decided pizzas afterwards. This is no small task! I've heard about some of those vegetarian pizzas! Broccoli as a topping? This man deserves our support! I signed up for Tales of the Unanticipated and am eagerly awaiting my first copy.

Eric M. Heideman. The genius behind Krushenko's, the SASE reading series, and Tales of the Unanticipated. One of the great pillars of the Twin Cities SF Writing Community. Accept no subsitutions!
