What sort of stories do you write? And if you have anything published, tell us about it (even if it's not SF.) We love to hear about all your successes.

I have written a variety of fiction ranging from medieval fantasy to science fiction. As for my current project, I took a more realistic approach and decided to write a psychological thriller that involves the evolution of a criminal mind set. It involves the one decision in a person's life where they draw upon the epiphany of who they are. Humans as a species can be separated into three categories... the predatory, the prey, or the hunter. This current novel revolves around how the character got to that point and how instinctively he knew exactly what role he was. It's a somewhat modern approach on the most primitive of instincts rationalized under modern intelligence and reasoning.

What brings you to the SF Writers Meetup? Is there anything that you hope the group will do for you?

I am looking to find and active group of writers to interact with. I am aiming to be serious about writing and not just a support group.

Introduction

I am Richard Moyer, my interest in writing has been present since pretty much I was born. There has always been a creative spark in me, and once I "grew up" I decided to pursue the challenge of writing. Dedication and perseverance is key.
