What sort of stories do you write? And if you have anything published, tell us about it (even if it's not SF.) We love to hear about all your successes.

I began with paranormal books (2 series-vampire one, and then a zombie one), and they are both e-Published (unfortunately because I have just discovered that the agency I've been contracted with for the past 3 years has turned out to be a glorified scam artist and now my eBooks will never be able to be queried to good agents, and they are considered 'self published works'. However, I do not consider the last 3 years a waste. I have grown as a writer and have branched into SCI FI, futuristic and even a modern day fairy tale. My website has a summary of all my books. It has always been my dream to see my books in print, to share my writing with the world. I am a driven, confident, industrious writer who has been writing ever since I was little , and I average about 3-5 books a year. 2012 saw 4 books, 3 brand new and 1 rewritten. I'm always ready and willing to share my writing with others. I love for other people to see and respond to my work!

What brings you to the SF Writers Meetup? Is there anything that you hope the group will do for you?

I want to connect with other writers locally and get new perspectives for my work. I would also like to get a few of my query letters proofread so I can send them out to publishers. I have written so many books that appeal to a wide scope of readers so it helps to have different personalities to match up with my books. Seeking improvement for your writing is always a good reason to join a writer's group, and I live very close by to this one so convenience always lends a worthy hand. Having the support of fellow writers is always a plus.
