There certainly are a lot of astrology classes to choose from this fall in the Twin Cities! We have quite an exciting variety to choose from, and I want to tell you about a very exciting one: my upcoming Vedic astrology class, starting Tuesday, Oct 18, at the Sacred Paths Center, 777 Raymond Ave in St Paul.
This first lecture is totally free, although I will be asking for donations to pay for the space.
Vedic Astrology is also called Jyotish ("the science of light.") With this Vedic astrology class you can learn powerful techniques for character delineation, "destiny" pre-determination, and prediction. Vedic astrology already has a reputation for accuracy and power, but it is also very practical and down to earth in its emphasis.
So while it is a great tool for navigation in the earthly spheres, it also delivers tremendous spiritual, philosophical, and religious depth. Vedic astrology had a very, very ancient pedigree; and some would argue that Western astrology has its roots in the Vedic system.
The system is actually easy to understand and learn, and I'll be interspersing techniques with current celebrity charts and esoteric teachings.
I started out in the Western system and for ten years diligently studied and tested various techniques such as asteroids, fixed stars, galactic and astronomical points, harmonics, midpoints, and multiple progression techniques; not to mention the traditional signs, houses, and aspects. I also devoted time to the ancient Greek and medieval astrological techniques, putting them all to the test.
Then in the late 1990's I was lead to study the Vedic system in more depth, and I became quite satisfied with the results it delivers and my ability to help myself, my friends, and clients with it. I publish a weekly prediction column on my website, http://www.starworldnews.com using a combination of Western and Vedic astrology.
This lecture will be the start of a ten month series of classes (one per month) covering the various aspects of Vedic astrology interpretation and forecasting techniques, covering also relationship astrology. The following is an outline of the entire ten-class series:
