Important Announcement Vedic Astrology Meetup: No Admission Fee and Personal Readings for You!

Dear Lovers of Astrology,

This Tuesday, Dec 20, will be the last Vedic astrology class for 2011. The class is basically designed for anyone to enter in and start learning at any time, it has an open ended architecture to it. In the last year of doing this class I've determined that there are about twelve basic concepts of Vedic chart interpretation that are used, and they are easy to understand.

It will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 20 at the Sacred Paths Center at 777 Raymond Ave in St Paul.  Click here for a map of the location.

I'll be presenting an updated version of the Vedic Astrology Guide that I'm creating.

So I was thinking about what I could do in this class, something that would be my gift to the local astrology community for the season.

A forecast for 2012? No, probably will produces yawns in audience; it is SO already done to death. Nobody ever seems to get that right anyway.

Maybe I could do a chart on the next US President and his inauguration? No, politics and astrology can be a very contentious or boring affair, probably the latter. Besides, you don't need to be an astrologer to see what will happen, for all that is worth.

I really don't think we need another Mayan/2012 lecture either. How many reasons do we need to think we are entering a New Age?

Then I had an idea, but I immediately dismissed it. However, it might really bring some people in, and would generate even more interest in Vedic astrology. You know, you don't get into astrology to make money, you do it to help people. So I decided to go ahead with it.

I am offering the class FR*EE but donations will be accepted (to pay for the room and printing costs.) This is a one-time-only event, and I am offering free readings for those who attend, and it will be done in a classroom setting for everybody to learn from.

You can see what's coming up for you in 2012 with concise but comprehensive analysis of your chart, Vedic style. Vedic astrology specializes in delivering, quick and to-the-point forecasts (the dasa system), without having to juggle a lot of competing factors. If we stay on point, I'm sure we can cover everyone.

It should be an adventure in discovery for all. Trust me, it will be fun, not to mention very helpful for you. My goal is to give you, the focus of this time period for you and specific timeline information. Be prepared to take notes.

I don't normally do this because I like to have a good idea of what the charts are beforehand and I can design a class around them; but because of the holidays and the fun I think I could try this out every end-of-year. Again, it's also my gift back to the community.

Mind you this class will be very close to the solstice on December 22 this year, the energies of the event will contribute to the meaning of it.

The economy is really hitting people hard, and I know some people can use some advance word on their upcoming cycles at little or no cost.

If a lot of people come, we can finish on the third week of January 2012. I need to pay for the room, so I will take whatever financial donation you can give. Then for the rest of 2012 classes will be $20 per session; but this can be our "solstice party."

An RSVP yes or no will help me figure out the best way to do it, and help me make space arrangements ahead of time. You can click on "RSVP" at the Meetup site or reply to this email or to [address removed] telling me if you'll be attending, plus any questions you might have.
