  • Greetings Georginator!

I'm presently unemployed and low budget and wonder about some of the places the meetups occur. Do the establishments where your group meets allow someone to not purchase anything?
    Thanks!

  • The Georginator,
I would be happy to take care of organizing the August Meet-Up. A topic I would love to discuss is "Conspiracy Factualism" (as opposed to Conspiracy Theorism). Conspiracy Theorists try to force fit facts into a pre-established, irrefutable theory. Conspiracy Factualists (CF), look for salient fissures in the Establishment narrative of an event and try to arrive at a hypothesis that is all-encompassing and still falsifiable. 9/11, the Kennedy Ass...etc. are examples.

  • Hey George, sorry I forgot to get back to you, but I truly appreciated your presentation! I'd never thought about how tribes will sometimes demand cognitive biases as a sort of shibboleth - very interesting. I'll see you later this month to talk about Sartre!

  • Hi George! I am also a Greek George... And a philosophy major from a Greek university. Does that make me a geek? I doubt it.

  • Hi George, welcome to FMCOR; our next Nature Walk-n-Talk will be at Minnehaha Falls on 2PM Sunday, 9/11, to discuss the ethics of the Prime Directive (or, noninterference with relative morals!). Hope to see you there. -- Frank Burton, FMCOR Co-organizer
