What's your preference - Glacier NP or the Winds?

5-7 night backpack trip in July/August… GLACIER NATIONAL PARK ( http://www.nps.gov/glac/index.htm ): From the web site, "Glacier is a backpacking paradise. The park consistently ranks as one of the most popular backpacking parks in the NPS. Famous for its towering mountains, pristine alpine lakes, abundant wildlife, and its 700+ miles of trails, this amazing place is growing in popularity each year.” Permits are a gamble - few choices, difficult routes. THE WIND RIVER RANGE ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_River_Range ): From a related web site, "The Wind River Range is quite possibly the single most dominant range of the hundred or so that make up the Rockies in the United States. Exceptionally long, wide, high, rugged, and remote, the Winds (as they are affectionately known) are little known outside of the hiking and mountaineering communities, but to many they are clearly the quintessential Rocky mountain range." Permits are not required for small groups.

Do you want to go on a Labor Day Weekend trip, and if so, to what type of destination?

I am trying to find out if there is enough interest in the group to plan a Labor Day Weekend trip. If so, I would like to know where people want to go and what type of trip they would like. It might be time to do something different or go to a destination that is a bit further.

What day of the week works best for our regular meetups?

I want to find out if Mondays at 7:00 are still the best day for our group to meet. I put the next one on Wednesday due to the holiday, but we can go back to Mondays from now on, or pick a new day altogether. I am flexible and will make it work based on feedback from the group. We could also alternate days, as well, if there is a clear split on the days. Let me know if there are days you absolutely can't make it so that I can take that into consideration, as well.
