Monthly GM and Player Meetup

  • Jun 19, 2012 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Join us to learn about new games, chat about RPGs and the industry, announce games, find players and GMs, and make new friends! Although we don't actually play anything at our monthly meetup, at past meetups we have had players connecting with GMs to play in games of D&D, BESM, Star Wars: Saga Edition, World of Darkness, GURPS, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2020, Castles and Crusades and others. We also have people interested in less well known indie titles such as Nobilis, Dogs in the Vineyard, Inspecters, Primetime Adventures, Burning Wheel, and more. We even have a member who has published his own system Heirs to the Lost World. So whatever your game is, chances are you can find someone interested in playing it.

A lot of people showed up a bit late but things turned out well.

The Pathfinder Society meets Saturdays and Sundays at a few different places around town. Search for Pathfinder Society here on

I have limited experience but am a quick learner. I played DnD with a group many years ago but usually the mechanics make sense to me. I've heard great things about Pathfinder but haven't played it. What days do people typically meet? I would love to get in a group if it all works out!

Have you played Pathfinder? They have the Pathfinder Society where you can play your character anywhere and they have a lot of scenerios broken into a few 5 hour sessions. They meet up every weekend in a few different places. If you don't have a character they have pregenerated ones. I just started last weekend and it was a blast! You can take your character with you after you go back and use it there to continue playing. There are Pathfinder Society groups in most areas.

Thinking about checking you guys out, but I will only be in the Cities for the summer. Is it still worth coming by or will there not be any games I could get into?
