I'm mostly looking to run a game with some new people. I used to play D20 of various flavors, a little WoD, and some homebrewed systems. It'd be great to find a regular group to be a player in as well, but not sure if I could do both at the same time. A group that rotates GM's might be a good fit? Having been both a long term GM and the victim of really *bad* GM's, I really make an extra effort to be a courteous player.
Not sure about other activities, but I'll think on it... I have a couple major volunteer commitments outside of my work, so I have to avoid getting overextended (but since I have a habit of doing that anyways, you can probably figure out how to rope me into things).
Just looking for laid back folks to chuck dice with.
I learned with AD&D, so it has nostalgia points... Eclipse Phase for hard Sci Fi and existential horror. I'm chomping at the bit to run either a retro clone, or Runequest 6.
Probably six years when I was younger (middle school to high school), only a handful of games during college and afterwards. I've kept half an eye on joining or starting a new group for a couple months, but I don't have a lot of gamers in my regular social circles. Internet strangers to the rescue!
It's been a while, but I used to GM about twice a month. I'd like to get back into playing regularly. I could see playing just about any game, but as a GM, I enjoy running sandbox fantasy the most.
So far, so good.
