Player/GM living and working in the south west metro area. I am typically available for play on most weeknights and weekend days.
I have a moderate amount of experience as a GM. While I usually prefer playing to GMing, I could be coaxed into the GM's chair by the right group. As an AO, I hope to develop some new resources and events for GMs.
I would love to plan some events where we get together to play strategy board/card games. In addition to roleplaying I am always on the hunt for fun new games to play.
I am hoping to find a group with a outlook similar to my own. When gaming I take my gaming seriously, but it is hardly the end-all-and-be-all of my life. Looking for intelligent, witty people with social skills that extend beyond roleplaying.
GURPS 4th Ed is my favorite RPG, particularly sci-fi settings such as Traveller and Transhuman Space. I like the Serenity, Stargate SG-1 and Star Wars: Saga Edition RPGs. I'm also interested in the New World of Darkness and Changeling the Lost.
I have been involved with roleplaying games in some form or another for over 20 years. I first started with some home-brewed dungeon crawls designed by a friend of mine, then moved to AD&D, the D&D 3rd Ed., then to GURPS and a host of other things.
"I am currently playing in both Serenity and Star Wars: Saga Edition games, Co-GMing a New World of Darkness game and developing a psionic campaign set essentially in the modern day using GURPS 4th edition rules."
The monthly meetup is seeing 10-15 people each month and people are making contacts to join games right, left and center!

Hey Jack! I hope that you can come check out YogaQuest this season :) Namaste, Justine
CAN YOU HYPNOTIZE ME! I HAVE NEVER BEEN HYPNOTIZED!
Welcome, Jack! Hey, we're in a group together again! You'll love this one. Keep an eye out for Yoga Quest, which is oddly addictive, and the Aikido workshops, which are simply awesome, and Foam Dart Tag, which is just plain silly.
Thanks for your message. I have mixed feelings about moving back to Cali, but overall, good ones. I've re-applied to grad school, for instance. :-)
Hey, I just read your idea for a grey jedi character in an old KotOR thread, and thought I might send you a message. You see, I just recently began building just such a character for a Clone Wars Era campaign. In fact, the guiding ideology of a Force undivided is exactly the same as well! Talk about Serendipity.
Hi Jack! I just sent you an e-mail to respond to your questions. We'd love to have you come and check it out!
lol. My avatar was made with the yahoo avatar thing. they had different backgrounds and characters. it fits me well tho. ty.
Jack, it was a delight to play with you as well. I hope we get to play again soon.
Reliable player with a lot of experience. Jack is a good team player
Our first game at the marathon was Cities & Knights with Jack, Mike, Brett, and Nate. What could be better at 7:30 AM? Jack crushed the rest of us but was always a gentleman. We're looking forward to gaming with him again in the future!
