Petland Protest in Saint Paul!

Please join us for a peaceful demonstration outside of Petland in Saint Paul. Are you interested in fighting for compassion and those that do not have a voice? Do you care about injustices against animals? If so, we have a great event for you! We will keep the pressure on and remind Petland that we are not going anywhere. Join us and stand up for the many injustices that are committed against the animals being sold at Petland.

Contrary to what Petland claims, animals at the store are obtained from commercial breeding facilities (mills) which not only keep animals in inhumane, over-crowded conditions, but encourage consumers to buy and sell animals as commodities, versus adopting or fostering from a rescue. We hope you can make it, Petland demos are super easy and require a minimal time commitment. Volunteers are needed to hold signs and banners, and let people know why we boycott Petland. All materials will be provided, but remember- this is Minnesota! Dress for the weather.

Please remember that we do not trespass on the strip mall property, so parking is available in the Saint Paul Youth Services lot directly to the north of the strip mall. Simply take the sidewalk around to the public property between the parking lot and frontage road, where our protest is held.

Thanks to those who attended the protest on Sunday! And a BIG thank you to Jackie for picking up the slack when I came down with the flu.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
