In this talk, Bob will examine the legacy of the first Emperor, Qin Shi Huangdi, and indicate how an ancient personality and the events surrounding him have influenced Chinese history and our lives in the twenty-first century.

Bob Brusic is a docent at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. He retired as Seminary Pastor from Luther Seminary in Saint Paul and is now pursuing a lifelong interest in fine arts. Brusic is a graduate of Dartmouth College and has an advanced degree from Harvard Divinity School.

The presentation was informative and enjoyable and it was a pleasure chatting with people afterward.

Lots of interesting factoids interspersed in explaining the background of the Qin Empire and the eventual creation of the terra cotta warriors helped propel this highly interesting talk.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
