Beginning Sailing, Classroom Session 6 of 6
This is our last session in this set. It will be a review and highlights of everything we've covered in the previous five sessions. It's a great opportunity for anyone and everyone to sit in and ask questions, whether you've been to any of the previous sessions or not.
Our instructor, Robb Harriss, grew up sailing on the East Coast and has extensive experience in small boat and long distance sailing. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Wayzata Community Sailing Center for more than a decade and works on the Race Committee for local US Sailing Racing Events. Robb plans to bring a causal and social atmosphere to these lessons meant for beginning sailors.
These lessons are meant to teach competence and confidence to the beginning sailor but will not lead to any type of official certification, unless you want me to create something in Photoshop.
The presentation will last about 45 minutes with socializing before and afterwards. Those attending should monitor their email for any changes that may be announced as we launch this new project.
