Mid-Summer Sail on the St. Croix II; Sunday 1-5 pm

  • Jul 21, 2013 · 1:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

New members and first timers (this season) only for this sail.  We wanted to give an opportunity to those that have not been able to get on a sail w/us yet.  Some rain possibly moving into the forecast for Sunday.  Will cancel by 11 am if it looks like more than passing showers.

Come join Matthew and myself for an afternoon sail on our Jeanneau 36 departing at 1:00 pm and returning approximately 5:00 pm (maybe later if the sailing's good).  Also, please bring a snack/beverage to share (alcohol is acceptable; we'll have bottled water on hand).  Small coolers only; soft-sided preferred.  Swimsuits and towels?  If it's hot we'll anchor for a bit.

I will email detailed directions to the Marina to anyone that hasn't sailed with us before.  Please make cancellations in a timely manner so wait listed people can be notified early enough to attend.

Be sure that you have paid your dues and filled out the injury waiver form and forwarded these to Jim.  Make sure any guest you want to attend have signed up for the group and are also current w/dues and waiver.  Looks like we have a policy this season of booting anyone off that has not completed a waiver and paid their dues, so you have been warned.

See the More/Files tab at the top of the page for a Marina Map and waiver.

Thanks everyone for two back-to-back fun days on the river. Lots of great stories, conversation and laughs. Weather was beautiful, the water warm and our guests top rate. Will get around to posting some great pic's soon.

Fantabulous - 100 Stars! With knowledgeable, fun skippers, a beautiful boat, surprisingly gorgeous weather and scenery, really fun, interesting company and good food - it is beyond belief that MSA makes this kind of experience available for a tiny sign-up fee. I think there is kindness of heart in Matthew and Carol as well - I think they really enjoy sharing their love of sailling. As a newbie I felt totally part of the team at all times. THANK YOU!
