Newbie Night V - May 19, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Caribou Coffee, Roseville

For those who missed out when reservations for the first four Newbie Nights filled up almost immediately, and for those who have just joined the Minnesota Atheists Meetup, we are proud to announce Newbie Night V.

Newbie Nights are specifically designed for those who've never attended an MNA Meetup before or never got a chance to interact with other MNA Meetup members. It can be intimidating to be the only person in the room who doesn't know anybody else, so here's an event where EVERYONE has come to meet like-minded people they've never met before. We've reserved the meeting room at Caribou until 8:30 p.m., but anyone who wants to continue their conversations is welcome to stay later. There's plenty of parking in back.

We'll start the first of three small conversation groups at 7, but try to come at 6:30 to get your beverage and/or snack and fill out a name tag.

Since Newbie Nights are in high demand, we're not allowing "maybe" RSVPs. We've reserved for 20, so if you are interested and will go, please RSVP. Keep your RSVP updated if your plans change, so another Newbie can take your place!

It was great. Got to meet some more like-mined freethinkers. The discussions were interesting and insightful as always.

It was nice to get to know other local atheists in smaller groups than some of the other meetups. It also helped to have some ideas for topics of conversation, and the talks were insightful.

A great bunch of atheists with interesting opinions. Lively discussions, and most of us stayed until 9.
