Saints Baseball goes Atheist for a Night of Unbelievable Fun: The 2nd Coming

We had such a great time last year with our sponsored St. Paul Saints game that we decided to do it again! For the second year in a row the St. Paul Saints will become the Mr. Paul Aints for what is being billed as A Night of Unbelievable Fun: The Second Coming. The first pitch is at 7pm but you can come as early as 5:00pm for some tailgating fun by the fence near the railroad tracks in the parking lot. Make sure to stay for the post-game fireworks!

The letter "S" will be covered on the "Saints" signage throughout the stadium and there will be some new, fresh, and fun atheist-themed antics in between game-play.

The Saints baseball team will wear newly designed "Mr. Paul Aints" jerseys which will be auctioned off during the baseball game. A portion of the auction proceeds will go to a local charity.

Celebrate positive atheism and the Mr. Paul Aints with some of our limited edition merchandise. Check our ONLINE STORE for personalized Mr. Paul Aints jerseys as well as Mr. Paul (and Ms. Paula) Aints t-shirts and hats!

There are two different price points available for the family-fun ticket packages:

  • $21 ($29 value) - Infield (or Infidel) Reseved ticket + Mr. Paul (or Ms. Paula) Aints hat

  • $10 ($11 value) - Outfield General Admission + hot dog and soda

Standard tickets available at the gate.

The special ticket packages for our group are available at - after the Captca screen type "atheists" for the password.

Be sure to register for the American - Minnesota Atheists regional conference at the Ramada Plaza in Minneapolis the next day!

Those featured include Susan Jacoby, Amanda Knief, Hector Avalos, and Greta Christina, and PZ Myers. There will also be a fun morning of interactive breakout sessions!

Book your room at the Ramada Plaza (1330 Industrial Blvd. NE - Minneapolis, MN). Call them at[masked] and tell them that you're with the Minnesota Atheists for your special room rate of$89.

Great event... I told family in Maine about the "Aints" and they can't believe it doesn't make national news. Maybe we should contact Ira Glass for "This American Life."

I'm going to be at the tailgating, spot a little before 4pm with Bill L if anyone wants to join us a little early! We are going to be at spot number 8 along the fence in the parking lot.

Don't forget that the tailgating party begins at 5pm. There are a number of spots along the fence in the parking lot next to the stadium. Look for the group wearing Aints and MN Atheists stuff :)

Eric, what time are you going to be there? Heather is having me bring our grill too. But ill be leaving maple grove at 4 so will need to have a parking spot saved with the tailgate party.

Terrific! I'll be there at 5pm -- or a little before. I'm pretty sure the parking lot will be pretty empty at that time so finding a parking spot shouldn't be a problem. We will be required to pay $5 though, but you might be able to park for free along Energy Park Drive (not sure though). Our tailgating spot is along the fence by the railroad track at spot #8. Thanks!

Our first Aints game drew the second-largest crowd of the year. This year, let's go for the top spot!
