South Central Pridefest & Parade, Saturday, Sept. 11, 10:30 a.m., Mankato

If you've attended the GLBT Pride Festival in Loring Park, you know how atheist-friendly Pride Festivals are. So why not come to Mankato to join in the fun?

Minnesota Atheists will march in the parade and have a booth in Riverfront Park. The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Mankato at the corner of Riverfront & Mulberry, and we'll be lining up at 10:30 a.m. All marchers get a free Minnesota Atheists t-shirt! The booth will be open from noon to 6:00 p.m., so if you can't make it for the parade, stop by and say hello.

Here's a link for the festival, listing all the events, attractions and activities:

If you're planning to participate in the parade, please say so in your RSVP so we'll know to expect you. If you can't make it for the parade but would like to help staff the booth, please tell us when you'll arrive. Or just pay us a visit as you enjoy a wonderful Saturday afternoon!

If you need a ride, just say so and we'll do our best to arrange carpools.
