New Meetup: RESCHEDULED: Book Club: Godless - Burnsville - 7 PM Caribou Coffee

From: Bjorn W.

I'm sure Nature is sorry about ruining the book club meeting on Thursday, but once again, atheists spit in the face of Nature by maintaining a flexible schedule!

Announcing a new Meetup for Minnesota Atheists Meetup Group!

What: RESCHEDULED: Book Club: Godless - Burnsville - 7 PM Caribou Coffee

When: March 5,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Dan Barker, co founder of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, has written an update to his book, "Loosing Faith in Faith," "Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists"

This book will be valuable to people who have made the transition from religion to atheism, and those who want to understand what the mind of a fundamentalist is like and how to talk with them.

This is our first book club, and the style of the meeting will evolve in time. For this meeting, the organizer will be developing discussion topics based on the book and we'll talk about them as a group to get a better understanding of the book, and each others perspectives.

RSVP's are mandatory for this event, as this location is limited by space. Anyone is welcomed to attend. There will be one other book club meeting at Sun Ray Public Library on Feb 28 at 1 PM.

Please take notes as you read the book and be prepared to discuss what you have read.

Comments about which book to cover next, possible locations, and days of the week are welcomed!
