Announcing a new Meetup for Minnesota Atheists Meetup Group!

What: Star Trek! Reel & Meal, May 9th, 3:00 p.m., Regal Theaters, Brooklyn Center

When: May 9,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Time is approximate. Watch this page for updates.

Minnesota Atheists and Minnesota Humanists will be forming their own Federation of science fiction geeks when we join together to watch the latest fruit of Gene Roddenberry's vision. The ads proclaim that "this is not your father's Star Trek," so even those who break out in a rash at the mention of William Shatner can enjoy this one.
J.J. Abrams, the writer/producer of the TV show Lost, is at the helm, so this will be a new take on Trek. See for yourself on the movie's web site:

After the show we will have dinner at the C1 Buffet, 6090 Shingle Creek Parkway. Scott Lohman, uberfan and President of Minnesota Humanists, will answer any questions and take on all comers in Star Trek trivia.

May we all live long and prosper!
