On January 9, 2006, The Weekly Dinner was started with a simple concept of bringing people together to enjoy great food in the Twin Cities area. Since then, there have been many events scheduled, friendships formed and a lot of great memories. On September 1, 2012, the name was switched to Minnesota Foodies (http://www.MinnesotaFoodies.com). The mission of the group continues to focus around enjoying great food and building friendships along the way, but not just one weekly dinner. We have brunches, lunches, dinners and other events that will have food. While the majority of the events will be scheduled in the vast Twin Cities area on random days throughout the week, there will be some events that will be scheduled outside the Twin Cities, like in Duluth for example. There are a lot of great places to eat in the state of Minnesota so we should not limit ourselves.

If you enjoy trying new places to eat, meeting new friends or want to share your passion for food, this group will meet your needs. We are not just all about eating a great meal. Some events are scheduled where a meal is paired with dancing, movie or a walk to extend the great experience. The possibilities are endless. This is because this group is designed around you, the Foodie. If it was not for you, this group would not be here. I would encourage you to join and share some events with us. If you have an idea of a hosting event, share it! This is what makes this group uniquely enjoyed by many.
