The Women's Rec Footy League kicks off on May 13 and plays every Monday through July 15 with a bye on Memorial Day.
Rec Footy is a modified (reduced contact) version of Australian Rules Football and is a great way for new players to learn this fun, high paced sport.
Every week prior to the games we will hold a training session to teach the skills and nuances of the game, so new players are always welcome. We encourage everyone to play, regardless of your skill level or fitness! This year we're aiming for 4 teams of 10 women so make sure you sign up early and bring friends.
Did we mention that the league is free? That's right, 9 weeks of awesome fun without it costing you a cent! All you need are some cleats (soccer type), workout clothes (dress for the weather), and a water-bottle.
