Join Inner Potential and Iridescent in supporting the achievements of Florida youth in tech entrepreneurship. Three teams of students will be selected to pitch apps and business plans developed over the past 12 weeks as part of Technovation, a global competition to level the gender gap in technology and entrepreneurship. This event is open to all (male and female) Florida teams using Technovation curriculum. Doors open at 5:30 pm for sharing, networking, and mingling. Voting for teams will be open to the Florida technology and entrepreneurship community via online judging platform (link coming soon!)
Featuring: Keynote speech by Ms. Carol Ann Dykes, manager of the University of Central Florida Business Incubator @ the Central Florida Research Park. Prior to joining UCF, Carol Ann was a member of the University of Florida faculty in the College of Engineering where she served as Associate Director of the Southern Technology Applications Center supporting companies, federal laboratories and universities across nine southeastern states in their strategic business and technology commercialization activities. She currently serves on the board of directors of the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce, the Central Florida STEM Education Council and Athena Powerlink.
