Ever been cruising through user profiles on dating websites and wondered: Where the heck were all the attractive young singles that are Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indian etc. and how do you meet them?

This group is for fun loving, attractive and fit minority singles belonging to diverse ethnic backgrounds. We are a group of young and open-minded people that are free and appreciate the single life. That being said, we are not limited to just minorities. If you're fun, open minded, appreciate diversity and find pleasure in meeting people from diverse backgrounds you're welcome to apply to join this group. We do fun SOCIAL things such wine tasting, salsa dancing, playing pick up sports like soccer and tennis, happy hours, play board games, attend ethnic festivals, comedy clubs, hiking....you name it - we do it. Every event is a different experience so try out many. We are DIVERSE and we are a BLAST!!!

I'm putting this group together because I realize the need for young singles from minority ethnicities to get together regularly. I have lived in Austin for 3 years and realize that that there are tons of young single blacks, asians, hispanics, indians etc. that don't have the right outlet to socialize and meet new people. I will be organizing events in the beginning that will be fun and give you loads of opportunities to meet other singles that are cute, fun and looking to make new friends. Once the group is established, I will open up event planning to other members that are regulars and pro-active. Our main goal is to have FUN... then next would be maybe finding a partner along the way.

To join this group, you must be fun, social, and attractive. There won't be exceptions since these qualities are a MUST for the group to stay active, interesting and most importantly FUN! You must have a picture on your profile and answer a few important questions - this will help us screen for those that are serious and not just joining groups randomly. That being said, you must also attend at least one meetup every month - dormant members will be automatically deleted. This will be done since we are not one of those Meetups that are inactive, unorganized, the hosts never show up, or some gimmick set up to sell vacation packages.
