The MiracleBabies Family Network – San Diego Chapter is a group of San Diego families that have spent time in a NICU. Whether your child is currently in the NICU or if he/she is now at home, you are welcome to join this group! Our group consists of families with children of all ages. The purpose of this group is to establish friendships among the NICU families by providing opportunities to meet and share stories. Our families regularly find comfort in speaking with other families who share common experiences. We have periodic play dates which allow for the parents to connect and build caring and understanding relationships while the children play and build friendships of their own.

The MiracleBabies Family Network seeks out ways in which we can provide support to families that are currently in the NICU. This group strives to express our thoughts and support through various means such as care packages, educational seminars, and NICU terminology sheets. We will continue to think of ways that we can support these families.

We aim to provide various opportunities for the group members to volunteer to provide support to the hospitals and families currently in the NICU. We will work closely with each hospital to understand their volunteer needs and we will communicate these needs to the group members. The ability to volunteer is NOT a requirement for joining this group and if you do not wish to be notified of volunteer opportunities, please contact a group organizer.

Most of our families have a tremendous amount of gratitude to the hospital staffs that provide life-saving services to their children. For this reason, our group will continue to thank the staff members in various ways at the different NICUs throughout San Diego.
