Miramar Toastmasters Pages

Toastmasters teaches public speaking and leadership skills. By learning to effectively express your ideas, you open an entirely new world of possibilities. You’ll be more persuasive and confident when giving presentations, and you’ll improve your one-on-one dealings with others. Peninsula Presenters is a small, suburban Toastmasters club with a relaxed, informal atmosphere. We meet on alternate Monday evenings from 7.15 to about 9.15 pm. in the St Aidan's church hall, 89 Miramar Avenue, Miramar, Wellington. You are welcome to come along to any meeting and see what we do. You can have a go at speaking or just watch. We are happy for you to come to a few meetings with no obligation. We were all new members at some stage, so we let you decide for yourself. There is no pressure to do any speeches. Members are encouraged to have a go, but are free to work at their own pace.
