Mission Peak Hike-- 6 miles, 2100 elevation gain

We meet at the Stanford Avenue entrance by the picnic table.
This is a strenuous hike with a constant uphill climb until you reach the summit. We do not take breaks until we reach the summit. The elevation gain is 2100 ft and the hike duration is approximately 2 1/2 hours. This is an out-and-back hike. The trail is a well maintained gravel base until the last half mile. From this point the trail is hard pack dirt and rocky.

This hike is not for beginners.

Free parking is available at 2098 Stanford Avenue although space is limited. Street parking is available on Stanford Avenue between Mission and Vineyard.

Finding a parking spot usually takes about 15-20 minutes. Plan accordingly.

Some people have gotten lost using their GPS. Please follow these directions.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
