Lets get physical ..
I will be running this event every week to burn off calories, so come out and join me for a brisk walk along the river. There are hills and walkways -
Dress Code: dress according to the weather conditions
Meeting Place: I will be waiting in the parking lot by the rocks
START TIME: 9:30 SHARP
Length of walk: 1.5hr to complete the walk - we start at the parking lot and go in a circle
halfway point we have a brief introduction to get to know your members.
Due to weather etc. always check the site before attending this event.
Don't forget to bring your camera to take some pictures.
Note the following safety concerns:
- Bring water
- Wear proper clothing and shoes
- Ensure to do proper stretches before you walk
- Ensure to keep up with the walkers so you don't get lost or to far behind (if your not familiar with the trail bring your cell phone)
