Breakfast Book Club

Breakfast Book Club

Mississauga

This meeting will be a meeting where we select the books we will be reading for the next six months. I will post suggested books and a short synopsis a week before the meeting so you can review them before you vote on your choices.  We will also have a discussion of the pros and cons of each book. Please post your own suggestions or send me an e mail so I can check out availability.

What could be better than books and breakfast?

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet members with the same interests. The Breakfast Book Club will be meeting once a month, at 10:30 AM on the last Sunday of each month.

The group will be choosing the books. The series of books will be posted and all you book lovers can attend monthly events. This is an opportunity to expand our social events and keep connected with all the members.

As a group we will select one book to read each month and share our ideas and impressions of that book.

Join us for an interesting discussion even if you have not read the book.

The discussion will be led by Naomi. Ideas and respectful opinions are most welcome from all attendees.

Lots of free parking.

Hi Naomi. Did you receive my email. I sent some book recommendations.

Hi there, everyone. I haven't seen all of the choices submitted, but I'm happy to read one Grisham novel. I also saw a note on Infidel, which is an absolutely amazing novel. I'm not familiar with Rowling's work outside of Harry Potter. The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Hosseini are both quite good, so I'd enjoy reading his newest book, too.

Naomi, I sent my own list of suggestions via email. Did you receive it?

    February 7, 2014

  • Naomi C

I will choose one to recommend. Which one do you think has the most significant issues for discussion.

Hi Naomi. Probably the first book by hosseini. I have not read either of the books by Rowling but have heard they are good. Thanks
