Please note the slightly earlier than usual start time of 6:30 PM !!
If you watched TV in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, you will especially enjoy this evening of guessing the names of the TV shows connected to famous sound tracks, themes and jingles.
Here's a sampling for you. Click on the play button below. Do you recognize a few of them? If you think you did well, then you'll do well on this evening's quiz.
We play in teams of 4-5 people. Don't worry if you don't have a team, you get assigned to a table of 4 or 5 people when you arrive and that's your team!
You write down your answers on the answer sheets. You will never be put in an embarrassing position -- you are never asked a question directly. The intent of this evening is just to provide some fun and amusement.
As usual, there will be two rounds of questions. The teams are mixed up between rounds so that you get to meet a whole new group of people during the second round. At the end of the evening, the people with the highest scores will get a prize.
We start gathering at 6:30 PM to mingle and chit chat and get to know some of the other members in a casual setting and so that we can get a drink and a bite to eat. The game starts a little while later.
Our venue for this quiz is the St. Louis Bar & Grill on Mississauga Rd at the intersection with Erin Mills Parkway, just south of Hwy 401. They have a very nice private area that has been reserved just for our group.
The restaurant also has a couple of terrific specials on Wednesdays. Here's the deals:
Joining us for the first time?
Our game evenings are a perfect event for new members so if you have never been out to one of our events before, this would be a good evening to come out for the first time.
Please don't be concerned that you won't know anyone, 90% of the people at our events come on their own. You'll get introduced to some friendly people when you arrive and assigned to a team and before you know it, you'll be like long lost friends.
I hope you will make it out to this fun evening and look forward to seeing you there!
