Issue with iOS application after change of server IP

Hi All,

I am struggling with a strange error and hope that somebody might be able to shed some light on this.

We have a mobile app that talks to application server via http/s. App on iOS and Andriod.
After moving the application server (changing the IP address) the iOS app has become unresponsive.
The apps use dns (not direct IP address) to connect, and the dns entries have successfully propogated to new IP address.
The Android app is working fine.
The server sees the requests from iOS and responses are as expected.
However the iOS app returns with "unable to receive information" - IE blank response.

So, is there any security or other weirdness going here that I have missed?

Any help would be appreciated.
