This is a great group for anyone interested in meditation, inner peace and physical and mental well-being. We have been conducting meditation classes for over 3 years now, and it is a great place to come rejuvinate your mind and body and meet new friends and like-minded individuals. We have classes on Wednesday and Thursday(Wednesdays 5:30 - 7:30 pm, Thursdays 6:30 - 8:30 pm). The first 30 minutes include some relaxing guided yoga exercises followed by a brief mingling period where everyone can get to know each other. Then there is one hour of guided meditation conducated via Skype live with one of our meditation instructors. Afterwards, we head over to Bangkok Thai Cuisine (which is in the same building) to enjoy a vegetarian buffet and get to know each other. We have many regulars and volunteers so please do not be intimidated whether you know nothing about meditation at all or have some experience, we are all in this as a community and will be glad to help you.

Dhammakaya or Middle Way Meditation Middle Way Meditation teaches that the center of the body is the natural home of the mind and an unlimited source of joy. The center of your body is located at the turning point of your breath. We rest our minds here with a soft, gentle, relaxing, and comfortable touch. Feel as if your mind is a feather that effortlessly floats down to rest at your center. No effort should be applied. Meditation is the easiest thing in the world and requires absolutely no effort. If you feel good and relaxed you are on the right path. If at any point you feel discomfort you may adjust your position or open your eyes and start the relaxation process over again. A mantra or any bright object, such as the crystal ball on this page, may be visualized in your center to help free your mind from wandering thoughts. Again, if you feel discomfort from visualizing then don't worry. Let the image go and just relax and do nothing.
