Responsive Web Design; Maximizing the Mobile Opportunity

With the focus on 'mobile first' for online content, knowledge of 'responsive web design' is critical to enable the development of sites that provide an optimal viewing experience, including easy reading and navigation with a minimum of re-sizing, panning, and scrolling - across a wide range of devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, etc.).

Join us at Mobile Monday Detroit when Michigan experts will discuss the pros/cons of using Responsive Web Design as well as comparing it with traditional web design.

The meeting is FREE to attend, though reservations are required for security and catering purposes. Free parking is available in the Compuware deck directly behind Compuware headquarters as long as your parking ticket is validated at event sign-in. Refreshments will be served.

Please note: NO-SHOWS cost money due to the fact that refreshments are provided. If your plans change and you will be unable to attend, please make certain to change your registration status accordingly on the Meetup site ASAP.

Mobile Monday Detroit is sponsored by the Mobile Technology Association of MichiganMobile Monday Michigan, and Compuware.

Two things: 1. good speakers, over lapped a bit but would have like to seen more on tools like bootstraps etc. 2. I have a ridiculous craving for Rays on the River lol I shall try.

Was ok since it focussed mainly on the need for responsive design rather than talk of options available to solve the plethora of devices or throw light on upcoming technologies
