Payments Hackthon powered by Startupbootcamp FinTech!

Love taking part in a good payments hackathon? Sign up via Eventbrite for the first payments focused hackathon run by Startupbootcamp FinTech:

BRIEF: The payments infrastructure today needs to be improved and update using current thinking and technologies. What if you could built the next bitcoin wallet or allow people to raise money directly in their bank account via crowdfunding? The brief of this hackathon is structured around removing frictions within the payments infrastructure to allow for innovation to happen. Up for a good challenge?

APIs and MARKET DATA: We are buddying up with Xignite and the Open Bank Project to provide access to powerful data and APIs. There will be a development environment set up for you as well, so you won't have to worry about resources. We've also invited the Devices Lab to come along, therefore you will have plenty of mobile devices to play with during breaks.

PERKS: This is a collaborative hackathon, not a competition: there will be training, brainstorming, hacking, good fun and good food. However, if we do like your idea and team, and if you do want to take this to the next level, your team will receive 2 months free space in the Rainmaking Loft and will be invited to the Startupbootcamp FinTech Pitch Day on June 11. MENTORS: If your background is not banking, but would like to accept this challenge because nothing is beyond your hacking skills, don't worry: we've invited payments experts and banking geeks to guide you and take part in the event as well. Questions? Reach out via the Eventbrite page. See you there!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
