A great idea, and thanks to Gerlinde and Maria Ilia for organizing it. My own interest is more towards the learning content: how is mobile learning different from book learning or classroom learning? In order to make the learning really work, we need to hammer out how people interact with the technology, and how they can best be served. Content, in my view, is everything. How do we break up the information into bite-sized chunks? How appealing does it need to be? How jolly? How visual? Any learning process is quite long-winded and complex; how do we link together the various bits into a coherent whole? How do we index it? DO we index it? How do we draw paths through the information that people can follow? There may be some principles that we can establish that would apply to all subjects. These are my worries, and it may be that this Meetup (good as it is) is not the right place for this kind of conversation. Any thoughts, anyone? Best, Nick Shepherd

A series of thought provoking presentations on the latest trends and progress that mobile is experiencing along with great networking and swig of a drink. What a great way to feel part of the mobile education community!
