Hi all,

Thanks to all that attended the *Mobile Learning Meetup (MLM) on 18th of October and special thanks to our speakers Tinaye Munonyara, Oula Akiki and Edward Upton.

There was a very interesting session around new government initiatives of addressing youth unemployment and literacy issues via new ways of learning. Tinaye presented on the many benefits of the StudyKit Pro,  a new fun & engaging Mobile Learning App for Students, Graduates & Professionals.

Oula tackled the issue of language learning via the busuu online learning platform that combines individual with community language learning. In the last four years, there are 20 million users worldwide with the ability to train on over 12 mainstream languages in a very flexible manner that can address the needs of each user and with direct interaction within the worldwide community.

This month, MLM launched the Mobile Learning Surgery which led to a very lively session with the attendees directly contributing to key issues around launching the new educational product ClassTablet. Edward asked for feedback on product and market development areas. In particular, integration with school management system, class messaging, school initiatives on bring your own device and budget pressure as well as type of content required by schools to run effective mobile learning courses.

Please let us know of any questions you may have. We can start/continue the discussion here

If you also wish to present your current development in educational apps and mobile learning in future MLM please let me know by e-mailing [address removed]
